email_bulk_operation_cancel
Stops a bulk operation that is still running. No further batches start; messages already processed stay changed and are not restored. Reach for this the moment a bulk delete or modify looks wrong — it is the only way to limit the damage of an in-flight operation. The result gives the final processed, deleted, failed and remaining counts, so you can tell the user exactly how far it got.
